Mirror had earlier reported (May 1) that filmmaker Imtiaz Ali and Master Chef Australia season 6 contestant, celebrity chef, restaurateur and cookbook author Sarah Todd are dating. Now, sources close to the couple reveal that last week, they decided to call time on their relationship.
“The duo had met each other’s families and friends, and all was well. So, it came as a surprise when they decided to go their separate ways. Meanwhile, Imtiaz is all set to begin work on his next film, which is reportedly a romance story,” the source revealed.
Imtiaz and Sarah, who had found common ground in food and travel, had been spending a lot of time with each other over the last few months.
Reports of them dating had first surfaced in April this year, when Sarah shared a picture with the 46-year-old director at her beachfront hotel in Vagator, Goa.
“Still pinching myself when I look around at the incredible place my team and I have built.
It’s off season and we’re almost full every night... So proud of our hardworking staff… and great company Imtiaz Ali,” she had gushed. The Jab We Met hitmaker had reciprocated by posting a picture of the picturesque sunset from the property.
